THE SIMPLE PAST
Ejemplos:
1. Yo abrí la ventana de mi cuarto. è I
opened the door of my
bedroom.
è You
walked to the stadium last
Sunday.
3. Ella invitó a su amiga a playa ayer. è She
invited her friend to the
beach yesterday.
è We
watched a film at the new
movie theater.
5. Ustedes prepararon el desayuno esta mañana. è You
prepared the breakfast this
morning.
6. Ellos practicaron la canción en el colegio. They practiced the
song at school.
Se usan en pasado:
Acciones que en pasado
tuvieron lugar una, varias veces o nunca:
1.
Nosotros visitábamos a
nuestra abuela todos los fines de semana. è We visited
our granny every weekend.
è My
dad traveled to the island
once a year.
Varias acciones que se
sucedieron, una detrás de la otra:
è She arrived, asked for her children and went to her bedroom.
2. ¿Abriste el libro, leíste las páginas sugeridas
y respondiste las preguntas? è Did you open the
book, read the recommended pages and answer the questions?
Acciones que interrumpen
otra acción:
1. Cuando estaba desayunando, el teléfono sonó
repentinamente. è When I was having breakfast, the
phone suddenly rang.
è When we were watching the
football game on TV, there was
a blackout.
Todos los verbos, ya
sean regulares o irregulares, tienen cinco formas (generalmente llamadas partes principales). Estas formas son:
El infinitivo
Presente simple
Pasado simple
Participio pasado
Participio presente

He aquí algunos ejemplos
de la irregularidad de los verbos.

Reglas:
regular o irregular. El auxiliar DID
auxiliar DID, el verbo debe aparecer
sujeto o pronombre.
